The Mother’s Day Classic Run will be timed using the IPICO Sports timing tag system. Runners (walkers are not timed) will receive a tag and twist tie in your race kit. The tag should be attached to your shoelace with the twist tie provided.
Your time will NOT be recorded if you tie the tag anywhere on your body or clothing including wrist or ankle, it must be attached to your shoe. If you do not have shoelaces, please use the twist tie provided to attach the tag to your shoe. A tag that is improperly attached may fall off or fail to record your time. If your are not wearing a tag you will not receive a time. Your tag is the only way we can keep track of your time. Please notify the event organiser if you change the event you have entered.
Results will be produced by net time. The tag will record your official time from when you cross the start line until you reach the finish line. You will be asked to return your timing tag once you have crossed the finish line. If you are unable to participate on the day, or you accidentally keep the tag, please ensure that you return the tag to the below address immediately.
The timing tag is expensive and is loaned to you on the understanding that if you do not return the tag by Wednesday 22 May 2009 the event organiser will issue an invoice to you for $50 to pay for the tag.

Dedicate the event to someone special
The Mother’s Day Classic gives you an opportunity to remember those who have been lost to breast cancer, to show support to someone with breast cancer or just to show appreciation to your mum on Mother’s Day.
Tribtute Cards will be available to allow you to dedicate your participation, and a memorial minute of silence will be held before your event starts.
You can wear a Tribute Card on the day, which can be worn in memory of a loved one, or inscribed with words of encouragement to someone currently undergoing treatment. To obtain your Tribute Card, go to the downloadable Tribute Card, tick the Tribtue Card the box on the registration form or visit the tribute area on the day.
Fundraising is another way of raising money for breast cancer research, so why not set up your own fundraising page online? This can be done through this website, where you can upload a photo, a personal statement and track your progress. A fantastic prize will be awarded to the person from each state who raises the most money.
Help us reduce our administration costs and ensure that maximum funds go to breast cancer research by registering and raising funds online. If you don’t have internet access, please download fundraising form.
